Habitat Challenge at the Hotel Morano

Want to conquer your fear of heights? You can do it; all while funding affordable housing for the Pierce County area? Look up at the 245 foot building as over 70 "edgers" descend the second tallest building in Tacoma: Hotel Murano. The Habitat Challenge lets volunteers descend down the side of the Hotel Murano to raise money for affordable housing. Attendance is free and donations are welcome. Habitat Challenge

The hotel is a marvelous sight. It's eye catching and radiates across the Tacoma skyline, fitting in perfectly Tacoma's preferred artistic medium: glass. Pieces at the hotel are made by nearly 50 artists from 12 different countries. They range from smaller ornaments to 75 feet tall! You can take a tour by simply scheduling!
